European Central Bank to keep interest rates unchanged

European Central Bank (ECB) Thursday, as expected, the 16th consecutive month kept its benchmark interest rate at a record low of 1.0% unchanged; while maintaining the overnight lending rate and overnight deposit rates were 1.75% and 0.25% in the same.

EUR / USD days after the European market intraday high of 1.2837, the euro zone GDP data due to strong performance by both France and Spain boost good news for bond auctions. Exchange rate generally remained at 1.2820 followed by the top line sideways.
